EDGE® Process

The EDGE Model consists of a series of evolved and refined processes.  Each is created through the execution experiences of the members, and the constant commitment to maintain an open, collaborative environment, while allowing the government to receive a value-added service at no cost or commitment to them. 
 
New Member process - we work with new members to create a profile that matches their firm, skills, technologies and relevant areas of contribution.  Immediate effort is placed to identify candidate projects that may address top needs of our customers.
 
EDGE Gate Levels - we define the relative maturity of a member organization or a specific project as it migrates through the EDGE.  The Gate process provides a common language for references between members and customers.
 
Knowledge Management process - we apply very sophisticated steps to collect, synthesize and evaluate the data we receive to ensure meaningful knowledge can be disseminated to members.  We revisit the results of this process with our customers and users to ensure the results remain timely and reflective of the top needs of the Warfighter.
